At K.A.W we also believe that education lies at the heart of a sustainable solution. In Thailand many stray animals are often maltreated and peoples negative perception of them can result in horrific abuse and neglect. At present many are oblivious to the multiple benefits that extensive and organised sterilisation can provide. Mobile clinics give people an opportunity to come and see what we do and how we do it. They learn from it and share constructive information with other members of the community. All of this instils a more educated and positive attitude towards helping sick and maltreated stray animals.
